Cut to ideal proportions, the round brilliant returns more light than any other shape and remains the reference point for brilliance. In a slim frame on a paperclip chain it reads clean, modern, and unmistakably fine.
Eight prongs, set in four pairs, hold the diamond inside a slim 18K frame that keeps the profile low and the look refined. The charm hangs from a round 18K bail that slides along the paperclip chain, so the diamond settles at the center of the neckline on its own.
The paperclip chain is made in 16, 18, or 20 inches. Sixteen sits high at the base of the neck and shows the links, eighteen sits just below the collarbone and suits most necklines, twenty gives a longer drop for layering. Select your metal and chain length above, or speak with a gemologist and we will confirm both before production begins.
Lab grown diamonds are chemically, optically, and physically identical to natural diamonds and are graded by the same independent laboratories to the same standards. The only difference is origin. For a charm meant to be worn every day, lab grown is the direct route to a larger diamond at the top of the color and clarity scale.
Each pendant is made to order. Production: 8 to 12 business days. Insured overnight shipping included in the United States. International shipping available.

A paperclip chain is built from elongated, flat links that resemble the shape of a paper clip. Ours is solid 18K gold in the same metal as the charm, with a lobster clasp.
Yes. Lab grown diamonds are identical to natural diamonds in optical, physical, and chemical properties, distinguished only by origin. Each center diamond is independently certified by IGI.
Eighteen inches sits just below the collarbone and suits most necklines. Choose sixteen for a higher, closer fit or twenty for a longer drop that layers well with shorter chains. Complimentary advice from a jeweler is one call away.

Warm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft brush or cloth. Rinse and pat dry. Stones attract skin oils, and a gentle clean every few weeks keeps the sparkle where it belongs.
Perfume, hairspray, and lotion go on before the necklace, never after. Take it off for pools and the ocean; chlorine and salt are unkind to stones and gold alike.
Lay it flat in a soft pouch or hang it by the clasp. Never coil a fine chain tightly; kinks are the one thing a chain does not forgive.
If the clasp feels loose, a stone rattles, or the chain snags, speak with a gemologist before wearing it again. We will tell you exactly what it needs.
The same pendant reads completely differently at fourteen inches and at twenty two. Here is where each length lives on the body.
Stack lengths at least two inches apart so each piece sits on its own plane. Sixteen and eighteen is the classic two piece pairing.

Sixteen inches, the princess length, sits at or just above the collarbone and flatters nearly every neckline; it is the length most people wear daily. Eighteen inches sits just below the collarbone and suits crew necks and higher collars. Fourteen inches is a choker, best with V-necks and open necklines. The full guide is above, and if you are between choices, a gemologist can help you decide in one call.
Usually, yes. The rule that makes layering work: keep at least two inches between lengths so each piece sits on its own plane. A sixteen inch pendant over an eighteen or twenty inch chain is the classic stack, and it keeps the two from tangling.
Yes. The diamonds in this piece are laboratory grown: identical to natural diamonds in composition, hardness, and brilliance, and selected by our gemologists to the same standard we hold every stone to.
Often, yes. Every piece is made to order in our Los Angeles atelier, and many designs can be built in another gold color or with a different stone. Speak with a gemologist and we will tell you what is possible for this design before you commit to anything.
You have 40 days from your order date. If the piece is not what you expected once it is on, one email to info@rockher.com begins a return; U.S. returns ship on a complimentary insured label, and every piece is inspected on arrival. If it is close but not quite, speak with a gemologist; there is often an adjustment that gets it exactly right.
Tell us who it is for and we will help you get it right: the length, the stone, the timing. Every piece ships in a custom presentation box, ready to give.
