What It Covers

Defects in materials and workmanship, for the life of the piece, on jewelry made by RockHer and carrying the RockHer mark. The remedy is repair or replacement, at the discretion of our bench. A piece without the mark was not made by us and carries no coverage.

What It Does Not

• Wear. A prong that loosens, metal that thins, a finish that dulls, a stud post that bends: this is what a piece worn daily does over time, and it is maintenance, not a defect.
• Impact, accident, misuse or neglect, and a center diamond lost or damaged because the setting was struck, a prong had loosened, or the piece was worn without inspection.
• Work by any other jeweler, including a cleaning or a resize. Coverage ends there, because the piece can no longer be verified as it left the atelier. RockHer services only the pieces it made.
• Bands 1 mm or thinner and the petite designs. They bend with wear by nature, and a client who chooses one accepts that.
• Ultra thin stud threads and similar delicate components.

Service

Resizing after the complimentary 60 days, retipping, tightening, polishing and refinishing are maintenance, done at our bench as service at cost with insured shipping both ways. Every commission returns to the atelier for a complimentary inspection at one year; a ring worn daily is inspected annually after that.

How a Claim Is Handled

1. Write to info@rockher.com with your order number, the purchase date and photographs of the piece.
2. We issue an insured label. The piece travels on our label only; a piece sent on your own account travels at your risk and is not accepted at the atelier.
3. Our gemologists and bench inspect the piece under magnification and report the finding in writing. A defect is repaired or replaced. A finding outside coverage comes with the price of the service, and if you decline the work the piece returns to you with the insured return shipping billed.

Discontinued Designs

If a design is no longer made, a warranty replacement is a comparable design of equal or greater quality.

Insurance

The warranty covers the making. Loss, theft and the damage of wear and accident are what a personal jewelry policy covers, and we recommend one from day one. RockHer is approved directly with Jewelers Mutual and BriteCo, and the appraisal and IGI report that ship with every piece are what either needs to schedule it.
