The 40 Days

The window opens the day you place the order and closes 40 days later. It runs from the order date, not delivery, because your diamond is secured for you on the day you order. Production takes 8 to 12 business days, which leaves about four weeks with the piece in hand to live with it and decide.

Inside the window a cancellation is refunded at any stage, CAD approved or ring finished. The return must reach the atelier by day 40, so send it several business days early; a return that arrives after day 40 comes back to you unprocessed.

How a Return Begins

With an email to info@rockher.com from the address on your order, with your name and order number. A phone call, a chat with ROSI™, a text or a message on social media does not begin a return and does not stop the clock.

We issue a complimentary insured FedEx label for U.S. orders. Pack the piece in its original packaging and drop it at a FedEx location. The piece travels insured on our label only; a piece sent on your own account travels at your risk and is not accepted at the atelier. International clients arrange their own insured return.

What Returns

• A loose diamond, with its grading report and all original documents.
• A ring or piece of jewelry, unworn and in original condition, with its packaging, report and documents.
• An adapted design based on a RockHer style or an industry standard style.

What Does Not

• A piece that has been worn, altered, resized or repaired, by us or by anyone else.
• A diamond returned without its grading report.
• An engraved piece. Engraving is permanent and makes the piece yours alone, so it is final sale once the bench begins.
• A band contoured to a specific engagement ring, made for that ring alone, final sale once the bench begins.
• A one of one design that resembles no RockHer or industry standard style, final sale once the bench begins. We confirm final sale in writing, by email, before production starts; without that confirmation the standard 40 days apply.
• A diamond its polishing partner releases to us as non returnable. It is flagged final sale when it is presented to you, never after.
• The $1,000 bespoke design commission fee, once design work begins.

One at a Time

One engagement ring order at a time, per client and per household. A second ring placed to compare at home is not accepted, and several versions of the same piece ordered to compare and return are treated the same way; orders placed to work around this are not refundable. Loose diamonds are the exception: several may be ordered for comparison within a single order, with complimentary insured shipping both ways on that order.

Refunds

To the original payment method, within 5 business days of inspection at the atelier. A second return on the same order, after an exchange, carries standard insured return shipping.

Above $10,000 paid by card, digital wallet, PayPal, Affirm, Shop Pay Installments or Progressive Leasing, the refund is 94% of the purchase price; the 6% is the processing cost the processor retains on every refund. Bank wire orders are refunded in full.

Damage in Transit

If a shipment arrives damaged, opened or tampered with, or is not what you ordered, write within 7 days of delivery and we replace or repair at our expense, final sale pieces included.

Sizing

One complimentary resize within 60 days of delivery for U.S. clients, up to one and a half sizes in either direction; beyond that the ring is remade at the price of a new ring. Some designs, full pavé eternity bands among them, cannot be resized; the bench advises on inspection. After the complimentary resize, sizing is a service at cost.

Warranty

Every piece carries a lifetime warranty on defects in the making. Wear, impact and work by any other jeweler are outside it. The full terms are on the warranty page.

One Price

Every piece carries one price, set from live material and market inputs. It does not move with the calendar, it is not adjusted after purchase, and an order cannot be returned and placed again to capture a later price.
