18K gold is 75 percent pure gold, deeper yellow, richer color, softer by nature. It is the choice of European luxury houses and the traditional purity for fine jewelry. It reads more formal on the hand and neck, and the color saturation is unmistakable.
Both are solid throughout. Never plated. Never hollow.
