Bring us your diamond and let us set it into a piece made entirely by hand in our Los Angeles atelier. Whether your stone is an heirloom, a recent acquisition, or a diamond you have carried with intention for years, our gemologists will set it with the same precision we bring to every RockHer commission.

This service covers the complete intake and setting process: gemological review of your stone, fully insured inbound shipping, hand setting into the design of your choosing, and a final appraisal of the completed ring for your records and insurance.

What we require before your stone arrives

To accept your diamond into our atelier, we ask for two items. First, a current diamond grading report from a recognized laboratory such as GIA, AGS, or GCAL. The report confirms the identity, grade, and precise measurements of your stone, and it becomes part of the appraisal of your finished ring. Second, clear photographs of the actual stone. These allow our gemologists to confirm the diamond before transit and ensure the setting is engineered to its exact dimensions.

Once we have reviewed your report and photographs, we will issue a fully insured shipping label so your diamond travels to us protected at its appraised value.

What this service includes

Gemological intake and verification of your stone. Insured inbound shipping coverage. Hand setting into your selected design. A complete appraisal of the finished ring reflecting both your diamond and the work of our atelier.

The setting itself is selected and purchased separately. Our team will guide you to the design that best suits your stone and your vision.

To begin, share your diamond report and photographs with our gemology team and we will prepare your insured shipping label.

Client-supplied stones are set with the utmost care. In the rare event of damage during setting, our liability is limited to the cost of the setting service. Clients are advised to maintain their own insurance on the stone through completion.
