The RockHer Select Diamond Standard

Every lab grown diamond in this collection meets a single, non-negotiable quality benchmark:

  • D color, the highest color grade on the GIA scale. Completely colorless under any light source.
  • VVS1 clarity, the second-highest clarity grade. Virtually flawless, loupe-clean, and eye-clean at every distance.
  • Ideal Cut, the highest cut grade, calibrated for maximum light return, fire, and scintillation. Required on every shape in this collection.
  • IGI Certified, every diamond is independently graded by the International Gemological Institute. Certificate included with your ring.

For round diamonds, we go further. Every RockHer Select round is a verified Hearts & Arrows diamond, an optical precision grade achieved by fewer than 1% of all round diamonds cut worldwide. It requires near-perfect symmetry in every facet. You will see it in the light performance from across a room.

We offer one quality level. Not a good-better-best tier where the starting price means a compromised stone. One standard, the highest performance grade available, at a direct-to-consumer price that makes it achievable.

About Lab Grown Diamonds

Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds. Physically, chemically, and optically identical to earth-mined diamonds, the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), the same light behavior. A gemologist cannot distinguish a lab diamond from a mined diamond without specialized equipment.

The difference is origin. Lab grown diamonds are grown in controlled environments using processes that replicate the conditions under which natural diamonds form. They are not simulants. They are not cubic zirconia. They are not moissanite. They are diamonds, graded on the same D-to-Z color scale, the same FL-to-I3 clarity scale, and the same cut standards as any mined diamond.

At D/VVS1/Ideal Cut, a lab grown diamond and a mined diamond of equivalent grades are visually and structurally indistinguishable. The price difference is significant. The quality is not.

  • 18K Yellow Gold, richer yellow, deeper warmth, higher purity and more saturated color.
  • Platinum, the densest precious metal used in fine jewelry. Naturally white, never fades, holds prongs more securely over decades of wear. The premium choice for a ring meant to last a lifetime.

1 carat, 1.5 carat, 2 carat, 3 carat, and 4 carat. Every carat weight is the same D/VVS1/Ideal Cut standard. The quality does not change with the size.

RockHer Select rings are priced as complete rings, setting and diamond together, with no add-ons required at checkout. Pricing is shown transparently on each product page by style, metal, carat weight, and ring size.

How It Works

  1. Choose your ring. Select your preferred style, metal, carat weight, and ring size.
  2. We pair your diamond. Your gemologist personally selects a diamond that meets the D/VVS1/Ideal Cut standard for your chosen carat weight and sends you the IGI certificate and a photograph of your specific stone for approval.
  3. You approve. Production begins only after you confirm your diamond.
  4. Built to order. Allow 8 to 12 business days from your approval to shipment.

What is included in a RockHer Select ring?
Every ring includes both the setting and a lab grown center diamond. D color, VVS1 clarity, Ideal Cut, IGI certified. This is a complete engagement ring, not a setting only.

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab grown diamonds are physically and chemically identical to mined diamonds, same carbon structure, same hardness (10 Mohs), same optical properties. They are graded on the same GIA scale and certified by the same independent labs.

What does D/VVS1 mean?

Are the accent diamonds natural or lab grown?
All accent and pavé diamonds in RockHer settings are natural earth-mined diamonds, hand-selected and color-matched to your center stone. We never use lab grown melee.
