Collection: Lab-Grown Diamond Letter Signet Rings

RockHer lab-grown diamond letter signet ring
RockHer Signature Collection

Wear Your Letter.

One rough lab-grown diamond. Cut and faceted into the precise shape of your initial. Flush-set into a solid signet. A commissioned object, not a configured one.

A RockHer Original

The initial, reimagined in a single diamond.

Most diamond-letter rings use pavé — a field of small round diamonds arranged in the outline of a letter. At RockHer, the letter itself is the diamond. We take a single rough lab-grown diamond and commission a custom cut that renders the initial as one continuous faceted gem. The difference reads immediately on the hand.

The Philosophy

One diamond. Cut to signify.

A signet has always been an object of identity — an impression, a mark, a sign. The RockHer diamond letter signet brings that tradition into the present by rendering the initial not as pavé or inlay, but as a single fancy-cut diamond, shaped to the letter itself.

Flush-set into a solid cast signet face. No two are alike. Each is cut for one customer and one letter.

It's not a configured product. It's a commissioned one.

The Standard

DEF color. VVS–VS clarity. Graded by RockHer gemologists.

Every letter diamond in this collection is a premium lab-grown diamond, hand-selected and graded in-house by our gemologists to the RockHer standard.

Lab-grown diamonds are physically, chemically, and optically identical to mined diamonds — pure crystallized carbon, 10 on the Mohs scale. The only difference is origin. And for you, the opportunity to wear a larger, more brilliant letter.

The Proportions

Signature and Grand.

Our women's pieces are scaled in a Signature proportion — a single fancy-cut lab-grown diamond measuring 0.50 to 0.75 carats, set into a mounting engineered for elegant presence on the hand.

Our men's pieces are scaled as Grand — a single fancy-cut lab-grown diamond measuring 1.00 to 1.50 carats, in a mounting with the weight and dimension a serious signet demands.

Both tiers are cast in solid metal. Never plated. Never hollow.

The Atelier

Made to order in Los Angeles.

We do not pull rings from a shelf. Every signet in this collection is cast, cut, and set for a single customer after the order is placed. Production takes 8–12 business days.

Our atelier sources the rough lab-grown diamond, commissions the custom cut, fabricates the mounting, and hand-finishes the piece under the same roof — all within our Los Angeles studio.

Frequently Asked

What makes a RockHer lab-grown diamond letter signet different?
Most diamond-letter rings use pavé — a field of small round diamonds arranged in the outline of a letter. At RockHer, the letter itself is a single lab-grown diamond. We take a rough stone and commission a custom cut that renders the initial as one continuous faceted gem, flush-set into the signet face. The difference reads immediately on the hand — a single diamond signifying one letter, rather than a cluster approximating it.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are physically, chemically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. Pure crystallized carbon. 10 on the Mohs scale of hardness. Same material, just grown in a controlled environment rather than mined. Every letter diamond in this collection is graded in-house by RockHer gemologists to DEF color, VVS–VS clarity.
What carat weight is the diamond in the letter?
Our women's Signature signet rings carry a single fancy-cut lab-grown diamond of 0.50 to 0.75 carats. Our men's Grand signet rings carry a single fancy-cut lab-grown diamond of 1.00 to 1.50 carats. The finished carat weight depends on the specific letter being cut — a W, for example, finishes slightly differently than an I.
Can I order any letter of the alphabet?
Most letters A through Z are in stock in both the Signature and Grand tiers. A small number of letters are held only for special order, which requires a two-to-three week sourcing lead time. If a letter is not listed as a variant on a product page, contact our team directly — we source custom letters on request at standard retail pricing.
How long does production take?
Standard production time is 8–12 business days from the date your order is placed. Because each ring is cast and cut individually, timelines vary slightly by style and metal. You will receive a confirmed ship date within seventy-two hours of ordering.
Which metal should I choose?
Yellow gold reads most classically signet — the traditional gentleman's choice and the default in many heritage houses. White gold and platinum read cooler and more contemporary; platinum carries additional weight and density that makes a men's Grand signet feel substantial on the hand. Rose gold is the softest and most romantic of the four. All four metals are cast solid, never hollow.
What is RockHer's return policy?
Diamond letter signet rings are covered by RockHer's standard 40-day return policy, plus a complimentary one-time resize within 90 days of delivery. View our full return policy.
